Friday Foto Friends #71 Scenes Of Nature

The following photos were taken by my daughter Elena this past week in Florida. She lives and works all around Florida and sends me photos she takes while traveling the state. Living here in upstate New York I don't get to see the wonderful sites of nature she sees. Click on photos to see full view.

  2. Very nice....my parents have lived in Ocala (just outside Gainesville) for 42 years. Hey Toni, I'm ready for spring, sigh....wink and giggles.

  4. Loved your photos from Florida...those were from not too many miles from where I live. By the way, the birds are actually Sand Hill Cranes! We have many of them living all around us now. Some migrate from Nebraska and Minnesota, but many just stay all year long and raise their families here. They are fun to watch, especially now their chicks are being born and will soon be joining the parents as they stroll around. Gotta watch out for them because they love to walk right out into the road in front of cars and take their sweet time crossing. Thank you for sharing these refreshing pictures. I hope you are safe and warm and that someone is digging you out by now! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
