Later on this afternoon after church it's lunch over my sister and brother-in-law along with my other sister and after we'll play our favorite Hand and Foot card game. That's always a fun time for me being with both my sisters. So dear friends, until the next time have a day of blessings.

Woman Of The Sea
Today I'm featuring another painting of one of my favorite artists Mark Shasha. He is an American artist and also an author, illustrator and educator. His subjects are often familiar and are usually inspired by the textures and light found along the New England coast where he lives and works. This is one of the oil paintings from his site titled, "Woman Of The Seas". Beautiful isn't it!

Have a beautiful day friend...although its only 73* here in little old Hornell, the humidity is like pea soup, ick...not that I am complaining...its summer after all. smiles
ReplyDeleteThank goodness it's not that humid here today Linda. Enjoy your Sunday my friend.
DeleteHappy Sunday my friend! It sounds like you have a perfect day planned! I love the painting! It reminds me of a gentle time that I would have loved to live in!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree Kathy, living in gentle times would be perfect. Have a blessed Sunday my friend.
DeleteI LOVE that painting! Absolutely beautiful! Reminds me of one that once hung on a wall in a house we rented...it belonged to the landlord, so I didn't dare remove it...but I truly loved it and enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing this with us. There's just something very poignant about this woman by the sea. Love that you have your sisters to enjoy doing things with! Such a blessing.
ReplyDeleteIt truly is a gorgeous painting. How nice to have your sisters so close to be together often!
