Just Saying! On Tuesday

Being it's Tuesday and I don't have much to write home about, I'm posting an old Ten On Tuesday Meme. If you ever come to my area, these are the places I would take you to see with photos.

1.  Hudson/Athens Lighthouse on the Hudson River.
2.  Catskill Mountains.


3.  Clermont State Historic Site home of Robert Livingston.
4.  Olana, home of artist Fredrick Church.


5.  Home of President Martin "Old Kinderhook" Van Buren.
6.  Warren St. in Hudson, with its antiques dealers, restaurants, art galleries & opera house.


7.  Historic Hudson Railroad Station by the Hudson River.
8.  Old Chatham Sheepherding Company (largest sheep dairy farm in the U.S. owners Tom &Nancy)


9.  The undeveloped Beebe Hill State Forest in Austerlitz.
10.  The Lebanon Valley Speedway.

    Been there and done that...since we had lived in Hudson...you would love Olana, Toni. Have a beautiful day friend.

    :) I've been to Olana more times then I can count my friend. Still drive through there with my sister. I'm only a few miles from there. The first painting I sold years ago was of the rolling hill with the heart shaped lake and the view of the Hudson River and mountains in the far background. It sold for $250 as I remember correctly. Sad to say I don't paint anymore.

    Hi Toni! We also visited Olana when we stayed in Hudson River Valley for a weekend trip, also visiting several mansions as well! Love that area! I am staying indoors today too, so cold out this morning!
