Sad, Abandoned And Lonely
Not having much happening this past week as the weather has been horrible and being tired of taking snow photos from my window I thought I would post these two photos that I've posted in one of my old blog posts as they are still standing there as lonely abandoned unused buildings. One in the Adirondacks, NY and one here in my area. They seem to match the lonely feeling of a cold and uncaring winter.

I wonder what it was like at its peak!

ReplyDeleteFYI, I bring up photos that I posted when I first started blogging, too, since they actually have an audience now :) Of course, I look at so many blog photos in a week that the bloggers could all post the same photo twice in a row and it would take me a long time to catch on!
I love that old log church building. Imagine how it must have rung with songs of praise and preachers preaching the old Gospel Story, with the people shouting out "Amen!" "Praise the Lord!" I wonder if you could still hear their echos...very interesting photo...and the old RR building was once a hustling bustling place I'm sure. It's sad to see them forgotten. I can only imagine the life that once teemed there. Thank you for these thoughts...
