1. Coming home from a night out you notice your garage door opened. What Would You Do?
First I would phone my house to see if any family members would answer. If no one did I would close the garage door from my car and dial 911 to say someone may be in my house as my garage door was opened and I definitely closed it when I left for wherever I had to go. Then move my car to the street and wait.
2. Getting ready to shop at the supermarket you realize you left your keys in the car. What Would You Do?
First I would cry a lot 😭 Then call whoever has another set of keys in the family. If no one else does, I would phone the nearest garage. Hopefully that would help. Before you asked I didn't have one of the newer cars that prevents that problem to occur.
3. Coming home from work tired you forgot you have guests coming for dinner and nothing to serve them. What Would You Do?
Before I enter the house I would call a restaurant that delivers a complete meal including dessert. I have the coffee and wine to serve. 😉 Hopefully I'll have the money to afford this service.
4. Your daughter calls you at work and says she missed the school bus and you have no car. What Would You Do?
Having no one to pick her up to take her, I would tell her to go back in the house and I'll call the school explaining that she won't be in today and let them know why.
NOTE: Just so you know, I would never have these problems and If I did, I really don't know how I would handle it until the time came.
Good answers. We don't have a garage, so that wouldn't be an issue for me, but if I did, I would probably chalk it up to being forgetful. Your answer was wiser and smarter. Regarding the keys left in the car, I would have to see if there was someone in the store who could help me, but if not, I guess call AAA, (but I don't have that service), or 911 and hope they can help when all else fails. Wouldn't do me any good to call home because we only have one car, so hubby wouldn't be able to get to me, unless he called a neighbor to bring him. 3. We would probably have to pick up a pizza at the local grocery store, or fried chicken. Those are the two prepared items they have. We don't have any other kind of service where we live. Or we might just have to have hot dogs... 4. I'd do what you did and also give her a long list of chores to do all day long. She would not be allowed to just sit there and watch tv or whatever. There would be consequences for certain!! She wouldn't want to miss the bus again!!
ReplyDeleteWe have similar answers! Have a great Tuesday!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat answers--and I would say I would answer them the same way. smiles
ReplyDeleteGreat idea calling the house! I like your extra note, I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteI love how you would handle these problems. I would not likely have these problems either. I have locked myself out of my car though, but it was when I was young. I am more careful now. Loved your answers! Have a great Tuesday!

I couldn't afford to order out for guests. I can usually pull something together at the last moment but if I really couldn't, I would cancel with my guests and explain why.
ReplyDeleteGreat questions this week and I really enjoy the meme.
