1. Of the products you use just to keep yourself clean and presentable, what seems to be the most overpriced? Just about everything I use for my daily shower, moisturing, hair products, etc., are overpriced. Nothing is cheap anymore.
2.Where in your house is a reliable place to get a few quarters? I use quarters for the laundromat in my apartment building and keep them in an old coffee container next to my detergent. That's about the only change I have in my apartment.
4. What did you have for dinner last night? I had split pea soup my sister Phyllis made (she makes enough to share with me and our other sister Louise), romaine salad with raisins, cherry tomatoes, croutons and Caesar salad dressing plus coffee and biscotti for dessert. Boy! was that good...[G]
4. How many rolls of wrapping paper do you have in your house? Would you believe none! I use gift bags for it's much easier and thanks to QVC I have many on hand.
Split pea soup! Wish I could eat that soup with you :-)
ReplyDeleteYou an keep the split pea soup, I'll take the rest, giggling. I'll answer your meme tomorrow on my blog, smiles. Hey, I just love your blog header, Toni. smiles
ReplyDeleteI certainly agree with you on number one!! Split pea soup sounds so good for a cold night's supper. No wrapping paper in my house either! Hope you have a Wonderful Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteOOO.. nice dinner. Nicer to share it with family too.
ReplyDeleteI stole from you again with the kitchen goods post.
I am in love with the lighthouse header.
We are deep in snow and its been below zero a few days but warming up now.
I love split pea soup! I don't think to make it very often, however! Your salad sounds great too. We put quarters and change in an old "chamber pot", and take the coins to a coin sorter for cash when it gets pretty full. I just have one roll of Christmas wrap left over. Bags for everything else! We buy a lot of personal cosmetic items at Dollar General, and they seem to be cheaper...or at Walmart. But you are right, they are all overpriced these days.
