News Flash!

I'm always looking for things to write that I hope you enjoy reading as much as I do and I know sometimes it's silly things but they are good for a laugh too. And so I've been rummaging through old blog files again!! I've found some great things there that I've shared with you and will still share with you. Especially the funny and strange ones. This one was a lot of laughs. The comments in parentheses after each label are mine. Let me know if you like this sort of stuff or comment on any other "smart labels" you found.

News Flash...Stupid Label Instructions

On a Sears hairdryer: "Do not use while sleeping."
(Darn, and that's the only time I have to work on my hair).

On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap."
(and that would be how?...)

On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost."
(but, it's "just" a suggestion).

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating."
(...ya think?...)

On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness."
(and...I'm taking this because??)

On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only."
(as opposed to...what?)

On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use."
(now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious.)

On Sainsbury's peanuts: "Warning : contains nuts."
(talk about a news flash)

Amazing isn't it how the manufacturers think of their buying public. And now after leaving you shaking your heads and wondering why, I wish you a blessed day ahead.

  1. That certainly got me off to a chuckle this morning!!! Thank you!!! Hey, I'm looking at your "local weather" badge over there, and it says 35 degrees at 7:15 a.m.! Can that be real? Wow! It's probably about 75 degrees here in FLorida right now...I'd like it a little cooler, but 35? That's a bit too cool right now! Bundle up!!

  3. Love these.
Amazing what we humans need to be reminded of!
When I was working for a doctor I got a call from a very highly educated patient who was bleeding. We had given him suppositories the day before which he has used without unwrapping them from their metallic casing. I learned that people in distress just don't think.
My favorite is the bridge out sign! So funny!
