Skywatch Friday ~ Sunsets

Thought I would show some photos from around my neighborhood for those who haven't seen them before. I live near the Hudson River across from the Catskill Mountains in a town called Germantown in Columbia County upstate NY. It's a beautiful rural area about 2-1/2 hours above New York City. The top photo shown is by the Hudson River in Germantown. The second is by the Germantown Park from the Town Hall, the last one is Olana  (The Late Artist Fredrick Church's Home)  State Park about 10 miles north of Germantown. Photos are all at Sunset.  (Photos taken by local residents on April 30th)

    Wow, so beautiful. You really do live in a lovely area. I also like the photo as your header...that lovely deck/porch with those huge log beams and a fireplace, and such a beautiful view. Would love to live there!! Have a blessed and beautiful day. I'm sorry I've been away for a while and am way behind in reading.

    Beautiful. You know I love upstate NY because it is so gorgeous. Haven't been in a while, sadly. I pray you will have renewed energy so you can get out and see it all often.
